American Idol 10: Top 13 Results Show

Ashthon Jones. I think she saw this one coming. I mean, really, she must have known that there was no way the judges would save her twice - for two consecutive weeks. Such a shame. I actually liked her prior to the live show. I think she's sassy with a lovely tone and she - no matter how shallow - looks like a viable pop star. I don't think she ever delivered a trainwreck performance, but she also didn’t do enough to make people sit up and take notice of her. Suddenly, I feel that Ashton’s dismissal was a wasted wild card slot. They should've given this to Kendra Chantelle instead. Sad.

Now, as for some observations and comments on the results show..
  • Dammit! The judges save is back on it's third season! NO!! I don't want another Michael Lynche situation. Blech.
  • Aww for Casey. I hope he doesn't have to drop out because of this. 
  • Wow. That mansion is HUGE. My entire house is smaller than that kitchen. Haha.
  • What a hysterically funny group number! But wait, it sounds like some of them are lipsyncing and some of them aren't?
  • Ok. Time for Red Riding Hood! Amanda Seyfriend looks stunning. Just saying. 
  • Adam Lambert! I hate to say this, but I miss his scream! Haha. Oh well, there's always James Durbin. 
  • I have to say, Adam Lambert really does look like James Durbin in the face. They could be brothers. It's a little spooky.
  • Aftermath is actually a good song. Didn't care for it in his album, but this stripped down version is amazing!
  • Another fake out from Ryan Seacrest. You're mean!
  • I love Skylar Grey and this song is really nice. Not a fan of Diddy though. Ha!
  • David Cook's song is way too short on that Ashthon Jones package. Do. Not. Like.

    That was so weird, they haven't done that any time I've ever seen the show! And booo @ Haley being in the bottom 3. I know she's not the one going home but still I didn't expect it!

    guess u were right abt ashthon...america doesn't like her that much...maybe if she was given the pimp shot and performed a different song it would have kept her. i was rooting for her. the next 3 i want to be cut are karen, haley & stefano:) howboutyou dam?

    Stefano won't be going anywhere til after the top 10, that's a sure thing. As for Haley, I'm rooting for her and I hope she can at least make the top 10. :D

    It was weird that they put two people in the bottom 3 in one group and then told the people on the couch they were safe. I've never seen that before. I'm sure it was because of time, but still surprised me. Haha.
