American Idol 10: Top 40 Spoiler!!

Just like every year, I give you American Idol Season 10's Top 40!!

Now, JoesPlace, the ever reliable spoiler since Season 7 - she correctly spoiled the final cast every season - has dug up a few contestants who are rumored to have made the American Idol Season 10 Top 40.

Traditionally, there's always a Top 50 that will be whittled down to the Top 24 in the “chair” episode of the Hollywood rounds. However, since American Idol is doing some serious revamp with it's format, according to reports this season will have, allegedly, Top 20 instead of the usual Top 24 or Top 36. From here on, the public/America will decide who will be part of the Finals.

Now the fun begins! The complete list is 99% sure - according to sources.

Again, read at your own risk!

DISCLAIMER: Regardless if the spoilers are true or not, it's still interesting to have these kinds of stuff. Haha. So haters, back off.

Frankly, this is obviously a strong group of contestants and surprisingly, most of them got featured during the auditions round. It's also interesting to note that the lack of the singer-songwriter type of artists are noticeable this season.

I wonder what ever happened to the following though: Devyn Rush (Times Square waitress), Travis Orlando (Homeless kid), Sarah Sellers (Food and music blogger), Paris Tassin (Young mom with a sick kid), Molly DeWolf Swenson (Harvard-White House girl), Scott Dangerfield (Boy next door), Chelsee Oaks and Rob Bolin (The Exes), Janelle Arthur (Country girl), and the Gutierrez brothers. I thought these people also got the potential to be great! Oh well.

  1. I can still remember the moment that Tasha Leighton didn't make it to Top 50 last year.

  2. Robbie: I know. Tasha Leighton, Angela Martin and Leneshe Young!!! Ugh.

  3. Paul McDonald got in! Love his voice.

  4. Will: I like his voice too, but he screams cannon fodder to me. I hope I'm wrong though.

  5. I notice the bluesy-type singer Emily Anne Reed is not listed. She's unique and deserves a spot in the Top 40.

  6. Arjuna: Owww yeah! I forgot about her. Yeah, she deserves to be in this list too. Oh well.

  8. yea he's kinda young but the way that GAMBOA kid kicked him out of his group was kinda rude . don't you think?.

  9. Emily Ann Reed was by far the best TALENT.. Not that the others aren't great singers, they are and they are better to fit in the A/I cookie cutter mold. Emily needs to find a show called, "American Artists" or "Originals" Her voice can't be commercialized, it's too far and above.. Who needs another Kelly Clarkson - A/I is becoming to predictable and redundant!

  10. Jennifer: It was rude, but that's part of the game. The same reason why I think Badeaux isn't ready for this. He's too young.

  11. Anonymous: Emily Ann Reed has a good distinct voice and yes, not the cookie cutter type of singer. But because of the sudden interest of singer-songwriters on the show, she isn't that unique anymore. She needs to have something extra to stand out. I say the same thing with Lilly Scott, Megan Joy and even Didi Benami.
