RANDOM THOUGHTS: Personal favorites would have to be Haley Reinhart and James Durbin. Haley gives the song a new twist and this bodes well with her because she'll not get compared to the amazing original. Her phrasing here is gorgeous and the liberties she did with the runs are quite impressive. James, on the other hand, didn't sound as clumsy with the notes here. So with an intact vocals, this is actually a pretty good studio recording. I think Casey delivers the song with conviction and I actually like Lauren's studio version better than her live performance. There's something in her voice that sounds authentic. Stefano sounds solid and Jacob is ok. As for Scotty, he's the usual Scotty. So, go figure!

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I greatly prefer the mp3 versions because that is my preferred file type - that said, I recognize that the blog owner is doing anyone who's downloading music a tremendous favor by offering free downloads here. So after I download the m4a versions, I convert it to mp3 on my own computer because guess what? Nobody is obligated to do nothing for me. I won't even be mad if the studio versions stopped being posted at this blog because I know I am not entitled to them.

ReplyDeleteYou people are an ungrateful bunch. Seriously, this is the stupidest and most spoiled thing I've heard in a while, and I'm surrounded by kids on a daily basis. You're getting these for free so stop whining or go buy them your selves. The uploader is obligated to "do" anything for you!
