In prior years, songs weren’t made available until after the elimination show, and only as individual download. Now, there will also be a compilation album with the 13 tracks from the contestants. Clearly, American Idol seems very keen to strike while the iron is hot. This will be really interesting.
RANDOM THOUGHTS: Of course, everyone sounds better than their live performances, but I have to admit that I'm floored with all of their recording voices. Pia Toscano's recording is just unreal. Her high notes are incredible and she sure has a good recording voice. I'm quite obsessed with Naima Adedapo's reggae breakdown. Both Casey Abram and Scott McCreery sound great in their studio versions. I suspect Paul McDonald will be this year's Jason Castro - somewhat shaky live performances, but a wonderful recording artist with a truly lovely tone. I also like the contemporary arrangement of Stefano Langone and Thia Megia's songs. Lauren Alaina, on the hand, sounds surprisingly generic and James Durbin sound terribly thin in his recording.

Amber: One possible way is to convert it via Zamzar.com. That's the online file converter I use so that I don't need to download any program to do it. It's pretty easy. :)

can you try putting the songs in one folder like a zip or rar and use mediafire? i think mediafire is faster than rapidshare
