I mean, if Scotty wins this week, the Kristy Lee Cook is now fulfilled - you know, Kris (Allen) Lee (Dewyze) Cook (David) and the only missing part of the puzzle is Scotty's ty. Haha. But of course, if for some reason Lauren wins, she gets to record and release as her first single, yes, one of Kristy Lee Cook's songs on her critically panned album, Why Wait? Creepy!

Taste of Country was tipped by a source at Universal Music Group, who tells us that McCreery’s song is called ‘Love You This Big’ and Alaina’s is titled ‘Like My Mother Does.’
Both singers will premiere their new singles during this week’s ‘Idol’ performance show on Tuesday, May 24. Our source didn’t provide further details about either teenagers’ new music, but added that both performances will be available on iTunes on Tuesday night.This is going to be really interesting - or maybe not! Haha. One thing though, I don't like a split screen of Lauren and her stage mom when she performs Like My Mother Does on Tuesday. JUST NO!

i actually love "LIKE MY MOTHER DOES" by Kristy Lee Cook.. But knowing that Lauren will be singing that, it would be great for her. She could win this..

i forgot to note. Kristy Lee and Lauren voices are almost the same. Listening again to Kristy Lee's version, I hear Lauren. heheh
Chooweytofee: Lauren's voice has more character than KLC. I also like Lauren's tone better. Kristy is a competent singer, but nothing in her voice that makes it stand out.
