.. just like what I suspected, Jessica Sanchez won most of the performances all season, but looking at it, the momentum right now is with Phillip Phillips after four consecutive strong performances. So yes, I wouldn't count him out yet because if he suddenly pull off a Heartless type of performance again this week, the crown is his for the taking.
Again, this doesn't mean anything come Finale night of course. But, if it will be based on this scorecard, there's only one correct choice to carry the title of American Idol. Whether or not that proves to be the case remains to be seen.. See you again on Tuesday!!

I hope Jessica wins, but we all know that regardless of how Phillip performs, he will end up taking the title because he is a guy. Then again, we have to think about who Joshua's fans will now vote for. Both him and Phillip are guys, so obviously they voted for Joshua for his talent (haha), so they might choose to hop on the Jessica bandwagon due to her amazing talent.
It actually doesn't really matter who wins because the Top 3 will all get recording contracts regardless of who ends up winning. Jimmy made it blatantly clear numerous times that they all would.

Phillip did better than Jessica EVERY WEEK. Jessica's talent sums up at having taken vocal lessons and having 'lungs'. Phillip is an artist.
@Maya Lintu: Artist that can't sing!!! Why is PHillip suddenly an artist? Because he can play a guitar? How can you say that Jessica isn't an artist? Just because she can sing and belt notes? Have you seen her youtube videos? She also writes her own song.
Just because he doesn't have range and can play a guitar makes a person an "artist". DUH!
The match up is just about right. Phillip can't even sing the melody that's why he kept on changing the arrangement to suit his limited range. He's even worse than Lee DeWyze
The whole point in being an artist is being able to make a song so much your own that you don't even care who the original artist was. Jessica never made any performances that were better, or different, than the originals. Phillip's performances have always made me go "wow, he made it his OWN." changing the arrangement to be Phillip and not Genesis or Damien Rice, that's what makes him an artist. He knows where he stands.

@Maya Lintu, you know what's funny? You said that she's taken vocal lessons. Although it's hard to believe, she's never taken lessons. On her American Idol contestant's page, it has her Q&A box.
"Question: What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Answer: I've never had singing lessons."
Apparently, she's so good that you assumed she's taken professional lessons.

@Maya Lintu, so are you saying that Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and others were NOT artists during their seasons just because they NEVER made the songs they performed their OWN?
American Idol is a SINGING competition not a REARRANGING competition. Not because they can change and can make the songs their own, they can already be called artists. Are you telling me that you're BIG FAN of ANDREW GARCIA who obviously made most of his performances his OWN?

I'm not voting for Phillip because I think he has the better voice... I'm simply doing it because Jessica doesn't appeal to me. I wouldn't want to buy an album made by her. Sure, she has a great voice and I'm sure she'll have a couple good songs.. but I think Phillip could come out with a great album altogether.
