X Factor UK 13: Finale

Finally! This horrendous season will end this weekend and I'm ecstatic. I mean, this season started really strong and entered the live show with probably the worst possible combination of finalists out of talents to pick from. Also, the judges have been awful. Nicole Scherzinger, in particular, was an attention hogger the entire season - and her duet with Matt Terry tonight was annoying. Ugh.

Crazy In Love

This performance heavily relied on the choreography and production and nothing else. The vocals seemed to be an afterthought as the backtrack was way too loud. I'm not even sure if anyone of them were actually singing live - and yes, that's annoying. Not going to lie, the dance breakdown was great, but they have to sing you know. 6

02. Matt Terry
Take Me Home
[BOYS]
I was waiting to be in awe - given the powerful song and choir - but it was just a competent cover of a song. Sure, the vocals were good, the production looked insane, and the light show was incredible, but it didn't move me. If you want to see a incredibly connected version of the song, look up Mikaela Dean. 7.5

01. Saara Aalto
Everybody Wants To Rule The World
[OVERS]
She's a vocal beast and she showed it again with another powerful performance of the song. It's not her best performance on the show, but this clearly blew the other performances away. The theatrics also matched the whole concept of it and that's good. 8.5
