Oh, and Taylor Swift was actually a good mentor no?
On with the show!
TEAM GWEN
Heart Attack
Tough song. She started off way behind the melody, but it all off towards the end. Some of the notes she was hitting was pretty impressive. Oh, and she somehow reminds me of Jacquie Lee.
Love On Top
Her vocals were mostly on point with a couple of interesting phrasing choices, but her growls were distracting and they were oddly placed.
WINNER: Bryana Salaz
STEAL: Sugar Jones (Team Pharrell)

You've Got A Friend
He's country and I didn't really mind. There's an effortlessness in his delivery that I liked and the choices he made with the melody were lovely.
As Long As You Love Me
Pedestrian version of a Justin Bieber song. Yes, of a Justin Bieber song! Ha.
WINER: James David Carter

TEAM PHARRELL
Saving All My Love For You
Hated the song, but she sang it beautifully. She showcased range, dynamics, and control.
Superwoman
The arrangement sounded choppy, but her vocals were strong and commanded attention. She needs to work on her diction though.
WINNER: Danica Shirey

TEAM ADAM
How Do I Live
Ok. Yes, he sounded great with fantastic vocal control, but this was too dated and boring for my taste. When will you sing something more modern that this?
Crazy In Love
CRAZY! This was really entertaining, her vocals were spot on, and she looked confident on that stage.
WINNER: Damien Lawson
REALLY? NO STEAL FOR TOIA???

TEAM BLAKE
Your Song
Her tone's annoyingly affected. I don't know. It's pleasant, but nothing special.
Calling All Angels
Seriously? How did he even get to this point? His pitch was all over the place.
WINNER: NO ONE Jessie Pitts

TEAM PHARRELL
Rich Girl
It started really strong. His tone sounded good and fits the song perfectly. Plus, it seemed quirky but not so much. Ha.
Rather Be
Awesome song choice. Uneven vocals. Weird stage presence.
WINNER: Luke Wade
STEAL: Taylor Phelan (Team Adam)
