So for Casey Abrams - and Haley Reinhart who appeared a couple of days ago - I've decided to put up their goosebump-inducing cover of Moanin'. They don't have anything released yet post-American Idol, but this is just to remind everyone that they are also capable of doing incredible music. I mean, I haven't heard this song prior to the performance, but they sold this to me. Very jazzy and yet modern.

It has sold 190,000 copies on it's first week and debuted strong at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 - his second Top 20 hit on the chart. It has also reached #20 on Mainstream Top 40 radio and has become his second consecutive top ten hit on the Adult Top 40, reaching #4. In 2010, the song was honored at ASCAP's 27th Annual Pop Music Awards as a Most Performed Song.

Great show by the Idols at Araneta! Casey and Haley did wonderful with their Moanin reprise from Idol. Did some live tweeting. Thia didn't get more solos (like what was rumored) and just sang Who Says. Pretty much everything at the setlist found at the wikipedia page of the Idols Live Tour were followed, except there was no "Firework" (katy perry).
Zach: Thanks for that update! I will watch the concert later!! Can't. Wait. And I'm surprised that Thia didn't get another song or two.
