Kris Allen
Live Like We're Dying
His debut single that arguably took some time to get noticed, and I'm glad it did catch up. It debuted at #89 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #18 on the week of March 13, 2010. The song also peaked at #10 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart, becoming the first male winner to enter the chart's Top 10. It was a certified platinum hit with 1.6 million copies sold in the United States.
Allison Iraheta
Friday I'll Be Over U
The critical reception for her lead single was more than positive. According to Entertainment Weekly, the song is an aggressively jaunty kiss-off track that juxtaposes genuine hard-edged attitude from (Allison) with a chorus as unapologetically addictive as Grape Bubble Yum. As of this date, the song has sold 54,000 copies in the United States.

This one is easy for me... Allison by 100 miles.
I can't go one against the other. They are both deserving artists but I choose Allison because she is so ignored and when she works with someone else credit is frequently incorrectly given to the other person. While writing her next album she has been doing some phenomenal covers this summer:.
