Glee: Britney Spears Will Appear On Her Tribute Episode

Yes, despite several press release that she will not appear on her themed episode on Glee, Ryan Murphy just confirmed in an interview with Ryan Seacreast yesterday that Spears is set to appear on the hit show.

She, according to reports, will likely play as a dental assistant to John Stamos' character - dentist and love interest of Emma (Jayma Mays). "The Britney episode is so reverential about her and so kind and it's about her music and it's not about her personal life," Murphy revealed to Seacrest.

So, don't expect a shaved Matthew Morrison. Haha.

Now, aside from Britney, Ryan Murphy also confirmed a couple of things. Carol Burnett will indeed play Sue Sylvester's Nazi-hunting mother, Paul Mcartney songs will be performed on the show, and there’s no Michael Jackson episode scheduled yet.  Murphy’s dream episodes: Prince, Beatles and Michael Jackson. One of the three will be done for the big Superbowl episode in January.
