Movie Review: Life of Pi
On technical merits alone, Life of Pi was arguably on a different league. It was exceptionally shot, flawlessly rendered and carefully photographed. It was visually gorgeous and I have high praise just for how fantastic the movie looked. The story might have lost a little bit of tension towards the end, mainly because it was told as a
recount, but it was still emotionally gripping and thematically inspiring. Life of Pi wasn't perfect by any means, but it was beautiful. Plus, the ambiguous ending surely brought up more questions than answers, which, on my end, felt just right. 9
