Movie Review: Hitman: Agent 47
Hitman: Agent 47 was heavily flawed. The story was incredibly formulaic, the script was a mess, parts of the editing were sloppy, and most of the characters were pretty one-dimensional. That being said, I can't deny the fact that it was relatively and surprisingly entertaining. Yes, some action set pieces looked annoyingly familiar, but the flashy and highly stylized visuals were somehow enough to gloss over the film's obvious flaws. It was all appropriately tense with a couple of decent action sequences. Oh, and Rupert Friend did a rather passable job as the lead role as it only calls for little emotion. Ha. Hitman:Agent 47 was problematic and, at times, even laughable, but I never got bored. More like, it's so bad that it's good. 5
