American Idol 9: Top 3 Studio Version

..they're down to 3. This week, they performed two songs: judge's song choice and personal song choice. It was indeed an interesting week with some decent to outstanding performances. The studio performances are a totally different story - they are all pretty good.

This is how I rank their studio performances for this week:

Random Thoughts: Crystal Bowersox's Come to My Window is way better than the live performance and Maybe I’m Amazed builds, has texture and is excellent. I really like the flexibility of her voice here and her studio versions this week remind me so much of Allison Iraheta, but with an ability to throw in a lightness and flexibility. Now, Lee Dewyze's Simple Man is absolutely better as a studio and I oddly prefer Hallelujah live than this studio recording. I don't know. As for Casey James, his Ok, It's Alright With Me is stunning while Daughters left me a little cold. Enjoy!
