American Idol 14: Top 3 Head-to-Head Match Up!

Like every year since Season 10, her's a quick rundown of how the rest of the season went and who outperformed who in this season's reviews. Again, I've taken the trouble of going back through all my reviews and snagging the grades I gave for the Final 3. That's right. Since the format now is bit of a mess, and we're coming into the Finale with still three people left, I have no choice but to do it this way. Ha.

As expected, Clark Beckham easily demolished both Jax and Nick Fradiani thanks to his stellar performances at the start of the competition. That said, he clearly lost his momentum now and it's between the other two. It's a pretty exciting turn of events no?

In a battle of Clark-Jax-Nick, Clark won the season hands down with a 10-3-4 win. But let's break it down into three (3) different Finale scenarios:

Nick-Jax: 8-9 with Jax winning the season

Nick-Clark: 6-11 with Clark winning the season

Jax-Clark: 6-11 with Clark winning the season

Pretty interesting stuff. I'm into numbers so seeing this trend is pretty telling. If Clark gets eliminated at third place, it'll be a VERY close and even battle between Nick and Jax. But if Clark survives another cut, he'll be the next American Idol.

But of course, this doesn't mean anything come Finale night and if it will be based on this scorecard, there's a clear choice to carry the title of American Idol. See you again on Tuesday!!
