And just like my "best" list, it’s not physically and financially possible for me to go and watch ALL films that were released this year, so you may not find some of the garbage here.
Read on to see what made the shortlists and let us know in the comments what made yours.
"The pacing and editing were problematic. I thought the story dragged in parts, I hated how the movie always cut away to something completely different every time a conflict seemed about to start, and the climax seemed a bit rushed and underwhelming."
"If you enjoy fast cars and whatnot, then Need For Speed is for you. If not, then there's really nothing to miss here."
"Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit had a couple of good moments here and there and the film was perfectly serviceable, but it was entirely generic and forgettable. Pedestrian at best."
"Although there's really no point of over analyzing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it was still a generally mediocre film. Nothing spectacular. Hit and miss humor. Predictable story. Less heart."
"Into The Storm took what could've been a genuinely intriguing disaster movie and turned it into something perilously shallow."
"If they can't deliver on the dancing, what's there left with the film? Sadly, Step Up All In was just a long bland shambles of a film."
Some films are too terrible that I somehow get a certain pleasure from enjoying how bad they are. Transcendence doesn't even make the grade on that score. Yikes.
Comedy films can be campy, illogical, totally absurd and crazy, and it won't even matter as long as they make the audience laugh. Sadly, Sex Tape felt extremely flat and barely managed to elicit giggles, much less laughter. So you then ask the question, what's the point?
"I was told before that if I couldn't think of, at the very least, three nice things to say, I wasn’t allowed to say the bad stuff. So yes, my review of this film is over. Haha."
"If anyone tells you that Transformers: Age of Extinction is a good film, you should punch that person in the face and run away. It's an obnoxious mess with little to no charm at all."
