His actual recording of Beautiful Day had an arrangement so close to the original that there’s zero chance it will get played on the radio. Seriously. Sure, I heard some glimpse of beautiful phrasing and his connection to the song but this acoustic arrangement was lovely - gorgeous even. This is so much better without the overpowering band and backup singers. Go ahead, listen to it and if you want a copy, download it!
