2011 is done and it feels like an appropriate time to look ahead to the future: 2012.
Now, with every upcoming year in films, there's always something for film buffs and audiences to figure out what they want to see. But looking at this year’s tentative slate of box office hopefuls, one might think Hollywood is unoriginal. Shocking. Haha. Lots of sequels, threequels, prequels and remakes for 2012 and a couple of comic adaptations. Overall, the blockbuster releases look a little better (?) compared to what was offered last year. So, fingers crossed that 2012 is the year of surprises and sleeper hits.
Anyway, here's my list of the 20 most anticipated films of 2012. Please keep this in mind as you peruse the list though, my taste tends to skew more towards the summer monstrosities and mainstream (potentially) big hits than “elevated” fare. So, it is what is it is.

Damn, you have pretty horrid taste for the most part.
Different strokes for different folks.. It's subjective. Put your own list and i can say the same thing. What makes your taste "better" than mine? Please qualify. What's horrid for you may be beautiful for some. Deal with it! :) Thank you very much.
no The Perks of Being a Wallflower?
sooo excited for the vow & rock of ages! BUT I will have you know about these movies: Premium Rush, 21 Jump Street, Movie 43, Ten Year, John Carter, The Five Year Engagement. THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD FROM THE TRAILERS
