Movie Review: Argo

Gone Baby Gone and The Town displayed Ben Affleck's skill as a director. In Argo, he took it a step further and proved that his previous films were no flukes as this was an extremely well crafted film in almost every respect. The script was razor sharp, the editing was great, the period recreation was flawless and the acting performances were precise and realistic. I was also impressed at how they made me feel concerned for its characters with a well measured tension that kept me on the edge of my seat. With a seamless balance of heart, suspense, humor, and history, Argo created an entertaining yet absorbing experience that made it one of the finest films of the year. Argo F*ck Yourself! Ha.
