The Voice 3: Battle Rounds Part 4

.. and things are getting more predictable on this show. The way they edit the pre-performance package, you'd easily know who will advance to the next round - of course, with a few exceptions. I don't know. To me, the Blind Auditions and Live Shows are The Voice's strongest rounds. Can we finish this already? Sure, there are some decent singing, but still.

Anyway, here's a recap of the episode.

This was a pretty decent battle. Liz sounded more assured of her voice and had a stronger presence on stage. Nicole was ok and that's all there was to her. Haha. Not so tough decision, Liz is a better vocalist.

Kayla Nevarez VS Alessandra Guerico

I've been a fan of Kayla since her live auditions and she was pretty spectacular here. Alessandra, on the other hand, sounded too rehearsed. and there's nothing particularly exciting about her voice. Then again, this is her last chance for to make a name for herself as part of American Idol Season 10 Grenade trio with Pia Toscano (AI 10 Top 9) and Brielle von Hugen (AI 11 Top 24).

Eh. Too short. I didn't even get the melody of this song. Oh, and Mycle Wastman didn't strike me as cannon fodder after his audition, but he got the fast forward battle round.

A lot of wailing and screaming. Oh, and duos never make it anywhere in this show. So, why bother? Haha.

Not sure if it was the singers or the actual song, but this was a fun battle with a lot of jumping. Haha. Personally, I prefer Emily than McKenzie as I find her voice a lot more interesting and I didn't like the affected tone of McKenzie's voice. That said, I didn't care much about both, so whatever.
