... and then there were 4. Wow. I didn't expect the iTunes version to be up this early. Usually, they release the studio recordings once the results show is done. I wonder what happen. Anyway, this week was just ok. The performances ranges from good to mediocre. The only saving grace of this week was the fact that they performed - just like last year - duets.
This is how I rank their studio performances for this week:
01. Crystal Bowesox and Lee Dewyze
02. Lee Dewyze
03. Crystal Bowersox
04. Casey James and Michael Lynche
05. Michael Lynche
06. Casey James
Random Thoughts: Well, it's somehow hard to rank the studio versions this week because, surprisingly, all recordings sound really good - even Big Mike. I kind of like Crystal's studio version than the live one, that's for sure. Same with Lee Dewyze where his pitch problems are, of course, non-existent here. Casey's solo recording was decent. Now, the duets, on the other hand, are gorgeous. I like both of them, especially Crystal and Lee's version of Falling Slowly. AMAZING, I tell you. Enjoy!
