Idol News: Lee Dewyze Announces First Single and Album Cover

Look! Lee Dewyze announces his first single Live It Up along with his debut album cover! Sweet! His first single, which is under the same name as his album, will debut on October 13, 2010 on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

Anyway, as for the album cover, I'm happy with it. First, the record label didn't go for the usual self-titled album for an Idol winner and instead thought of an actual title for it. If I remember correctly, the last one was Carrie Underwood (Season 4) with Some Hearts. It's actually kind of cool. Second, I love the playful, friendly smiling eyes of Lee Dewyze in this cover. I wouldn't say this tops Kris Allen's gorgeous album cover from last year, but this one isn't so bad. Nice tones, nice texture and it definitely captures Lee’s charm.

Lee's album entitled Live It Up will be released on November 16, 2010.
