We're almost at the homestretch! Yes, the last Idol got eliminated last night and just like every week, we take a look back at contestants past who were eliminated in the point of competition. Enjoy.
A lot of my season favs came 3rd.... But my vote went to Haley... been my fav of the season since the auditions. She's one of my Top 5 favorite Idols of all time.
This is a really good party I LOVE most of them but she is unique in her condition of underdog, Melinda, Elliot, Danny, etc were early favorite of their respective seasons, so she is the best dark horse who really become an star in front of our eyes... I hope she do well in her career
Anonymous: I think Elliott was a fodder until he gave amazing performances. Season 5 was all about McPhee, Hicks, Daughtry and maybe Pickler. Elliott, to me, was an underdog as well. But yeah, Haley's the ultimate underdog just because I hated her during the semifinals.

Apparently, it's featuring Tim Halperin covering songs tackled by this season. Interesting. I actually thought in the beginning of top 24 that Tim had the potential to shine. Unfortunately, he made a poor song choice. What do you think?
Some Idol Fan: I saw that page before. I honestly think Tim auditioned at the wrong season. If he joined last year, I could root for him more than Lee. I mean, the potential is just outstanding.
I even included Tim Halperin's original song, The Last Song, on my April Playlist. Listen to it! It's possibly one of the best songs an Idol released after the show.
benjlovesbabyV... Why do you say Casey was the worst 3rd place ? You obviously haven't heard him live since Idol. Songwriter, singer, killer guitar player, co-produced his album...what more do you want?

I'm torn between Elliot Yamin and Haley Reinhart. Both one of, if not THE best of their respective seasons. But I voted for Elliot. I <3 Haley.
Haley's singout was wonderful.

Hmmm, i would have to go for Haley... Special mention to Syesha, Elliott and Vonzell. Sorry, never liked Melinda :(
I thought Syesha really did well in her season but had the toughest competition - the Davids.
Elliott was really underrated in his season. I'm glad he was able to make it far - his best moment was on top 4.
I actually don't remember much about season 4 but I remember rooting for Vonzell - haha.

I really loved most of the third placers, but its really Elliott for me, with Vonzell a close second :)
